i understand security doing their (shitty) job. but it boggles my mind how customers inform on each other for free. just for the joy of licking boot (slrpnk.net)

I assume this is seen by them as making their own purchases indirectly more expensive by more than the cost of moral guilt they'd feel by reporting the shoplifter.

Might be a reason, but there are sooo many people out there that just want to make the live of poor people harder.
