What cameras did you add to your 3D printer? What is your favorite camera angle?

For me, the nozzle cam watching the first layer is my personal favorite (OV9281 image sensor).

Absolutely NOT the built in Bambu P1P/S camera. It "works", but it sucks.

From what I understand that has more to do with the crappy lighting than the camera.

You could put a sodium vapor lamp directly over it and it would still be bad. It's the framerate. The main board is what caps it. It's essentially fine for It's intended use of letting you see if you're making spaghetti, but that's about it

The camera in my Qidi is about the same. It averages about 8 FPS which is kind of annoying. I have not yet worked up the motivation to mount a spare Pi or something somewhere and use that as a dedicated camera processor.
