Closest I can get is the Hu from Mongolia and bloodywood from India

Not quite folk metal but Alien Weaponry from New Zealand uses Maori in their lyrics which is pretty cool as well.

Tengger Cavalry was a Mongolian metal band as well. Unfortunately the lead singer passed away and are no longer active.
