I think people are more upset about Reddit trying to kill third party apps than it being any judgement on Reddit's political leaning.
Indeed. I'm not sure what's supposed to be 'woke' about anything Reddit's doing or done.
Its only "woke" if you think that the mere presence of minorities is "woke"
Such a bizarre linguistic thing that's happened with woke. It's now essentially meaningless. What was once a legitimate term meaning "alert to racial prejudice". Now it just means "thing I don't like".
Well, more than that, I'd say it's even become a designated scapegoat for a (nonsense) conspiracy. An interesting video on the topic
