My mod team and I are basically not doing any modding. Whatever was in place is still in place, about once a week I clean the mod queue. None of us really login anymore. It'll eventually become a dumpster fire but so far, it's not too terrible from what I can see. We used to all be on there checking the top posts and making sure they didn't violate the rules but, not anymore.
Reddit is a poorly designed wooden ship full of holes. Lots and lots of sailors went down into the holds out of goodness of their hearts to bale out the ship, plug up the holes and keep the ship afloat. The captain thought it was his wisdom and excellence that kept the boat sailing. At one point the captain and his officers decided they should take on some new cargo, sail the seven seas, transport things and people everywhere for a premium price, pay the sailors underneath them nothing and take all the profits while telling everyone how great their ship was.
The sailors down below are now figuring out that their work is being taken for granted. They start leaving their posts, go up on deck, breath the fresh air, jump off and swim to shore, walk off at port, hop on a passing ship called the HMS Lemmy and HMS Kbin where their work is more appreciated.
The three masted ship Reddit is now slowly taking on water as it sails out into the horizon heavily laden with gold bullion, stores of grain and a hundred officers congratulating themselves as the holds leak little by little.
