4) NSFW is okay, within reason
Just remember to tag posts with either a content warning or a [NSFW] tag. Overtly sexual posts are not allowed, please direct them to either !asklemmyafterdark@lemmy.world or !asklemmynsfw@lemmynsfw.com.
NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].

Some subreddit that don't let you post.... question. Why? That's the stupidest thing ever.
I understand it in some instances.
r/electrical used to get a lot of DIY questions asked in a manor that showed complete incompetence in a trade where you and/or others can pay the ultimate price if you fuck up.
Some people were of the mind that they're going to have a go anyway so you may as well try to help but others did not want the potential death of other people on their consciounce.
In the end, r/electrical banned DIY help questions and r/askanelectrician became a thing which I think was a fair compromise.
