I tried posting my super radical video of the snake eating the baby mouse in our backyard to Reddit (cause it allows video upload, which Lemmy doesnt RIP in peace) and they removed it for "Mods encourage conversation but comments like this add nothing."

Are the current mods of that subreddit the same OGs are before the API drama, or is it people on crazy pills now? I am somewhat concerned for the mental health of whoever is replying to my mod team query because they appear to be speaking in tongues.

Perhaps I will YouTube it instead. I thought it was cool - like a nature documentary in the backyard! Pretty sure David Attenborough even made an appearance at one point.

but comments like this add nothing.

Who's gonna tell them it ain't a comment ๐Ÿซข

Been a while since I have been on r/Brisbane, but that mod name seems real generic, no? Perhaps they were a bit squeamish about nature doing nature things. Cool video though. I'm not a fan of snakes, so happy for someone else making a videos of them. That's as close as I will get to them, through my phone and computer screens.

Turns out they just chose the wrong reason. It's because it's "low quality drama" because people might get offended by a snake eating a mouse.

Also they aren't real happy I delete all my old comments on Reddit. That part I don't give two shits about.
