Interesting how the BCC election could set a precedent for the future State and Federal elections.

It certainly could do that, it's possible. But honestly, I doubt it will very much. Brisbane has a very long history, for whatever reason, of voting LNP at the council level while Labor at the state level. The most interesting thing is, among this, is the rise of the Greens at all levels.
