Looks like the promised federation fix didn't work. This still isn't showing up on Ada's instance when I checked it. :(

le sigh

I'll still be hanging about on Lemmy over Reddit because I just can't bring myself to use their terrible client, and/or support their IPO with the golden nuggets that are my content... but man it'd be nice to be less ignored. I need an audience. A crowd to be entertained.

Well that's a shame. I guess the only way to fix is to get everyone to 0.19? But then I don't know what other bugs were introduced, so maybe to risky for the bigger instances.

We're not even federating properly with lemmy.ml which is run by the developers and is on 0.19.2

Are you sure? Your post appears to be there --> https://lemmy.ml/comment/7275497

(EDIT: and mine appeared there after about 20 seconds or so)

Must've changed @Zagorath@aussie.zone had a comment that wasn't federating this morning. And I just got a reply from a comment on a lemmy.world post from a while ago so maybe we're all good now

Yeah not sure what happened. It definitely wasn't working at first, but eventually it did.

If I had to guess, I'd say shortly after we upgraded, the workers were busy going through the large backlog, and weren't immediately federating brand new comments/posts.
