That isn't one instance but one of tens of thousands. https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/tesla-musk-steering-suspension/ The most insulting thing is they blame the customers and change them. I like EVs and I belive in them, and I liked Tesla too, but I was disappointed in it by it's shitty practices.

sorry you're correct, however this is a small percentage given the number of vehicles sold like 1%. i don't think it justifies Teslas being branded as poorly engineered pieces of junk. only 12 crashes have been attributed to this.
