As an adult, the calling sign of intentionally flooding their victims houses is so much worse than the theft.

Sure, steal everything not bolted down. Makes sense. Gotta eat, and you resent the "rich" people.

But cause tens of thousands of dollars of damage, and long term mildew risk that will be weeks, maybe months, of hell to fix? Just to be extra petty? Man, that's so much fucking worse.

These are guys that were hellbent in killing a 12 year old boy during Christmas. I don't think ethics rank highly in their minds.

Yes, also, super easy to see that it was them who burgled those houses. And destruction of property is an extra crime with extra time.

Yeah, the very end of the movie the cop says something like "oh and thanks for leaving all the water on in the houses you robbed so we know which ones were you" or something like that
