Yeah. I understand that. When I’m queued up for work with jobs as well I try and give a realistic timeframe based on priorities and what is achievable.

Also to keep the people updated if things aren’t quite working in terms of timelines.

That’s the least they could do so you aren’t waiting around all day for nothing.

yup, I hear "tradie should be out on X day" then when I call before usual tradie knockoff hours specifically to check that this is still feasible for them I expect to hear "yeah his car fucked up and he's on the way now" or "Jobs ran long, probably tomorrow". This nebulous "we made a schedule and they will be there" in defiance of fact is begging for an enraged response
