My favourite time of year, traffic wise. Enough people have pissed off on holiday already that travelling locally is smooth sailing.

Downside is the last rush of "need it BY CHRISTMAS" that happens. Few more days and they'll go away and then it's a bit of relaxation. Still at work, but with plenty of down time to catch up on stuff.

The "need it BY CHRISTMAS" mentality also affecting going to the shop. Went on Monday, 30 minute drive turned into nearly 50 minutes because of all the vehicles.

Bet you are looking forward to all the down time coming your way. Might be able to get some sleep without being called in.
