ah OK, thx for the warning I am a bit sensitive. I couldn't finish The Handmaids Tale.

I haven't seen that, so I can't compare. In The Boys there's a lot of gore, and a very dark storyline. As it progresses they delve deeper into scatological imagery.

Quite literally at the beginning of... I think it was season 3. I shut it off a couple of times, and eventually just skipped that episode.
