I'd imagine it starts with the rider's feet being planted firmly on the ground and ends with them exiting through the back of their pelvis.

Basically you can't emergency brake. If you do then you get to do your best impression of a hamster going down a hill.

Honestly I think that is one of the main reasons these never caught on. But yes you can still buy one if you want. They never fully left.
