Terrible Estate Agent Photos
Terrible photos listed by estate agents/realtors that are so bad they’re funny.
Posting guidelines.
Posts in this community must be of property (inside or out) listed for sale which contains a terrible element. “Terrible” can refer to:
-
the photo itself (finger over the lens, too far away, people in the shot, bad Photoshop, etc.)
-
the property (weird layout, questionable plumbing, unsound structure, etc.)
-
the interior (carpeted bathrooms, awful taste interiors, weird mannequins/taxidermies/art, inflatable pools indoors, etc.)
-
the actual listing itself including unusual descriptions and unrealistic pricing. However, this isn’t a community to discuss the housing market in general. This is a comedic community - let’s keep it light.
-
Photos can be sourced from anywhere and be any age, but please check they haven’t already been posted.
-
Censor any names/contact details of private individuals.
-
Mark the post NSFW if it includes nudity or sensitive content
Rules.
This community follows the rules of the feddit.uk instance and the lemmy.org code of conduct. I’ve summarised them here:
- Be civil, remember the human.
- No insulting or harassing other members. That includes name-calling.
- Respect differences of opinion. Civil discussion/debate is fine, arguing is not. Criticise ideas, not people.
- Keep unrequested/unstructured critique to a minimum.
- Remember we have all chosen to be here voluntarily. Respect the spent time and effort people have spent creating posts in order to share something they find amusing with you.
- Swearing in general is fine, swearing to insult another commenter isn’t.
- No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia or any other type of bigotry.
- No incitement of violence or promotion of violent ideologies.

Judging by the number of recycling bins on the back patio, I'd say some slumlord broke this house into 8 units and is renting it out to desperate people for way too much. Fire codes be damned.
Recycling bins…? All I see is tupperwareesque storage totes.
Those green storage tote looking bins are a common style of recycling bin, around here at least - I'm in North Carolina.
Blue is recycling and green is compost though?
Differs based on your area and disposal company
It really shouldn’t, those are universal standards and there is no reason to be different than to confuse people.
Regardless of whether it should or shouldn't - it is. My parents have had a green recycle bin forever. My compost bins are brown and my trash is green.
It’s funny how you’re upvoted for assuming they are recycling and I’m Downvoted for pointing out things can be different, and than you’re upvoted for pointing it out too.
People are fucking stupid.
People aren't fucking stupid, your comment was just pedantic.
I just called them recycle because that's what I'm used to them being. I have seen blue recycle too - looking at the image, tho it's low resolution, it looked like to me there was a bunch of bottles in one - I just made an assumption. Im not making an attack on you - sorry if anything I said came out that way.
There should be universal standards followed, but I've lived in multiple countries and states and there sure as shit isn't any strict adherence to any color standard between recycling/trash/compost.
So…… why are people assuming they are recycling bins if they could by anything since color doesn’t matter…..?
Probably because from a distance they could easily be something like this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Rubbermaid-Commercial-Products-14-Gal-Green-Recycling-Bin-with-Universal-Recycle-Symbol-571473GRN/302727655
those aren't standards. those colors are de facto because of the people that manufacture the buckets.
There is no International Association of Color Of Plastic Buckets Organization.
Psh, you’re clearly not an alcoholic or a case-a-day soda drinker.
