I would think, if I was MBS, and I gave $22B to Elon to buy Twitter, I'd want a return on my investment.

Maybe theres a reason outside of profit why Saudi Arabia is choosing to not hold Elon accountable for the ostensible screw ups.

Maybe twitter failing is exactly what Saudi Arabia wants.
