Dune: Part Two just had its release date moved up. Unfortunately, that date is not “tomorrow” but we’ll take what we can get. The Denis Villeneuve sci-fi sequel is still coming out March 2024 but now a few weeks earlier.

I am happy to let them take all the time they need to get it right.

Delays are soon forgotten but early, rushed and shit is forever.

I could be wrong, but I thought I heard it was done. The only reason it was delayed was the actor strike made some promo stuff impossible.

You’re 100% right. Lots of “I know what’s really happening” circlejerk going on in this thread

Two of us thought something, we got corrected, and I immediately admitted I'd been wrong.

That's hardly a circlejerk.

whatever makes you feel good hombre 🤣🤣🤣

@Pepsi I don't really understand why you seem to have a problem with me.

But what would make me feel good is if you stop following me around in here and downvoting everything I say to other people. It feels stalkerish, so please stop.

From my understanding, the movie wasn't pushed back for production reasons, but due to the actor's strike affecting the promotion of the movie.

You're right. I didn't read the article properly.

For some reason I had thought the acting had been delayed (which would have massive implications) but turns out it was only the actors' participation in promoting which has been delayed.

Well said. And a project of this size and scope has the potential to really go off the rails if it's rushed.
