Even IF they reverted. Cool
Does anyone that’s shifted here care? “Oh we trust Reddit leadership now, see ya lemmy”
Reddit broke my trust. No way I'm going back there unless a major change occurs such as the CEO leaving to make place for a new one who is not as profit driven. But no way that's gonna happen
I wouldn't go back to posting there even for a new CEO, a groveling apology, and a full roll-back of the API policy. I had a sentimental attachment to the site, but it's been going downhill for some time. They might try to fix it, but I will always know that they can ruin it for me at any time. My issue isn't even profit seeking per se, it's the way they have deliberately given the finger to the userbase. I'm just not going to spend any emotional energy trying to give them another chance.
