Hey guys, great to see this community popping up on Lemmy. I am an earth data scientist with focus on remote sensing and a fan of OSM for years now. So far I only contributed minor stuff via StreetComplete, but now finally added my first building using the ID editor. It was surprisingly easy and I am super happy I could remove this blind patch from my neighborhood.

Just wanted to share my little success!

You can also give https://mapcomplete.osm.be a shot. It is built to allow everyone to update or add POI.
