Wait. You have to pay for RATs? They just give them away at shopping centers, here. The School also sent heaps home with the kids. Pretty sure they're around the workplace somewhere, as well.

I paid for some at the very beginning, but the government program giving them out started soon ater and I felt foolish.

I think you can still get the standard ones for free but I was after some that tested for RSV as well which is a newer thing.

Found some over in Glen Iris so I made my partner drive across town to bring me some. I don't have RSV ☹️ The mystery continues!

If you don’t have kids, then yeah. My workplace doesn’t have them either.
