MODERATORS

In a group of friends, what has been the greatest damage you've seen caused by a misunderstanding? Have you seen something being interpreted as an insult when it arguably wasn't so? (lemmy.ml)

I tended to have always kept a very small, tight knit circle of friends, so when something went down, which was rarely, it went really down. Not out of insult, but of ego. Which I think is a misunderstanding in its own right tbh.

In my teens and early 20s I had 2 people that I would consider best friends, really close. I loved them, still do. I don't talk to them much because we let ourselves get in the way of it. You live and you learn. ..both of them were born within a week of me, on either side. Kinda interesting.
