I got back to some reading yesterday. Polished off ‘Exiles’ by Jane Harper (slow and really sad) and ‘The Last devil to die’ by Richard Osman (good but also very sad). I don’t think I’m cut out for murder mysteries.

I just finished 'The last devil to die' also.... It was sad / poignant, but omg also so funny and clever!!! I love the Thursday murder club! I'm also a big fan of murder mysteries, especially 'cosy' murder mysteries... Good to have things work out in books when the real world is going to shit.

I like Osman’s work, and the sweetness of the geriatric detectives is just adorable.
