The early 90s band? If so, I may be the only other person that remembers haha. Something about a mossy god?

Omg have not thought about Lloyd Cole since forever... But I remember having that album with perfect skin on it.....

And loved The Church.... Saw them live a few times back in the day.... Good times!

Hi! There's lots of options out there for men's robes (I haven't made any myself as yet, but google brings up loads of options when you search men's robe pattern) But the one that sprang to mind when I saw your post was the Elbe textiles zero waste robe if you want to check that out... https://elbetextiles.com.au/blogs/news/zero-waste-pattern-making

I just finished 'The last devil to die' also.... It was sad / poignant, but omg also so funny and clever!!! I love the Thursday murder club! I'm also a big fan of murder mysteries, especially 'cosy' murder mysteries... Good to have things work out in books when the real world is going to shit.

I'm definitely no expert, but being an old machine I think the best thing to do is to get it serviced by a professional (sorry I don't know how many big Mac's that will cost), but it should be a good investment. From what I understand those old Singer sewing machines are great workhorses. Hopefully others will comment who know more than I do, but personally I'd get it serviced. Good luck!!

That's very true about the Murdoch press

Try the ABC and SBS for more balanced coverage of issues. Whilst The Guardian skews left / progressive, it has excellent journalism and they also have a daily podcast (mon-fri) that looks into a particular story each episode, as well as a weekly(?) Podcast about politics where they discuss current issues.

I've found Evelyn Wood 's videos on YouTube really informative and helpful. Also, depending on what you want to sew, some independent pattern companies have really good pattern instructions that are beginner friendly. Some will also have videos to go along with it too. There's lots of sewing stuff on the internet, whether it be basic instructions, free patterns etc etc. Lots of resources!

I agree.... definitely needs more funding.... and the thing is, there are actually treatments for heroin (unlike meth) so it seems crazy to not invest more into the system so it works better and more people can get treatment if they want it.

Methadone / pharmacotherapy is something that needs to be individualised, so there is a need for more doctors (and perhaps nurse practitioners) to be able to engage with patients to find what will suit them . The article makes mention of this.... unfortunately there is so much stigma associated with heroin use that few medical practitioners want to take it on, and also many pharmacists don't necessarily want to be part of dispensing methadone.
