It would be great to be able to follow toots from a Lemmy instance directly
Yeah. That said, I guess the model of interaction on Lemmy is sufficiently different to make that kinda difficult.
Maybe the mastodon post feed could be added as a kind of extension.
For example: on the top next to the 'search' icon you can have a little mastodon icon, and clicking on it takes you to the mastodon feed. Then, it can be possible cross-post the toots as lemmy posts.
So, rather than trying to fully integrate them directly by having the toots become posts, you have a 'lite' mastodon version attached to your lemmy instance, from which it is possible to toot, see the feed, fetch toots, and comment.

in https://karab.in/ you have menu section "Wpisy"
Oh, that's great! So this is a 'kbin' instance rather than a 'lemmy' instance. I was not yet familiar with that project, thanks for pointing that out!
this is my little side project actually. Feel free to ask any question ;)

Hey, great job! Thanks for the offer! At the moment I don't have the time, but at some point in the hopefully near future I would like to invest some time into understanding how to program these fediverse interactions. I will look at your code to see how you have done this and maybe try find you then to ask some questions :)
