Trying to silence discussion of politics is itself a tacit endorsement of the status quo.

True, but Trump is only tangentially related to Tate. If the discussion went further comparing their followers, that would be on topic.

I think Jonny's comment was about the Trump reference in an article about a British man human trafficking women in Romania. No one is trying to silence discussion
