In the US we have Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses that do this; are there any similar in the UK and what kind of religion do they proselytize?

I used to try face to face evangelising when I was a born again christian, however no longer (I'm agnostic now). It felt like I was intruding and always got a negative reaction.

We do have people in the UK door knocking who try to engage you with conversations about "the state of the world".
