it's definitely too warm for heavy work now. I did some digging and moving bricks early, but moved on to garden bed assembly when it got warmer. I've now declared it break time, I may or may not go out and do a bit of work when it cools down a bit this evening. For now I'm putting my feet up and contemplating how I will be constructing my bamboo cage/support over the garden beds.
I wish I had space for a greenhouse. What do/will you grow in yours?
We mostly use it for overwintering stuff like the miracle berries and extending the growing season for the nightshades (tomato/chillis/eggplant). Got a big fat black 100l tank that lives in there during winter as a heat reservoir, we manage to keep it nicely around 10-15c in single digit temps.
Summer it just gets too damned hot, even with shadecloth and ventilation
