Ugh, nice day to get the greenhouse bed completed, but too warm to be hauling trolleys full of gravel about one-armed

You work too hard Taleya. Relax a little.

You've got a green thumb. You need to grow one of those money trees I've heard about. Seriously if you're injured take care of yourself please.

I am mum, i promise. No more than 40kg per load and its a proper garden tipping cart with good, well pumped tyres (actually replaced them a couple months ago) and plenty of breaks

My left arm has always been janky - neuropathy from birth trauma which has exacerbated the effects of RA and dystrophy - i'm well used to babying the little bitch.

it's definitely too warm for heavy work now. I did some digging and moving bricks early, but moved on to garden bed assembly when it got warmer. I've now declared it break time, I may or may not go out and do a bit of work when it cools down a bit this evening. For now I'm putting my feet up and contemplating how I will be constructing my bamboo cage/support over the garden beds.

I wish I had space for a greenhouse. What do/will you grow in yours?

We mostly use it for overwintering stuff like the miracle berries and extending the growing season for the nightshades (tomato/chillis/eggplant). Got a big fat black 100l tank that lives in there during winter as a heat reservoir, we manage to keep it nicely around 10-15c in single digit temps.

Summer it just gets too damned hot, even with shadecloth and ventilation
