Why did you leave in the first place? And if it was money, how'd you feel when they magically came up with the extra money?

I had been stagnating and wasn’t really growing my skillset, I wanted a chance to experiment. The new job was supposed to be that.

They said their whole department was sacked, presumably that's why they left, I guess?
