I should like Temple of the Dog, but Hunger Strike is SUCH A BORING SONG that I still haven’t been motivated to listen to the rest of the album, even if it’s better than that song.
Edit: I forgot about Audioslave. Sorry, but I do not enjoy Audioslave. This band is not as good as either Soundgarden or Rage Against the Machine, but people have elevated them as if they are at the same level. I just don’t get it. Like a Stone is kind of a cool song. I just can’t get into the rest.
Not assured to help, but try Reach Down. I find that song to be a better starting point for the album. I'm not a huge Chris Cornell fan but Temple of the Dog is in my top albums of all time.
