This has got to have been a crazy campaign for Bernier. Slinking away from book banning meeting in Brandon, and getting out-conspiracy-theoried in Portage

My feeling is that Bernier's problem is he isn't really a true believer in all this, he's trying to ride a wave of populism into a position of power. But he isn't of these fringe right wing movements in the way CPC representatives from rural areas are starting to be. So they can steal his lane from him.
