A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

Rules

it's weird that we are prepared to die for democracy, yet willingly enter dictatorships daily for work and spend the majority of our waking lives with people we vaguely know (sh.itjust.works)

That's elections, democracy is a system of government by consent

But I agree with the current state of US and UK politics, 2 party systems are only better because a 1 party system is even worse
