Life expectancy actually increased significantly after the revolution. People really need to learn what conditions were like before to get some context.
The context is that both quality of life and life expectanc were far worse before the revolution. Revolutions are always messy, but the end result was clearly positive and vastly improved lives of hundreds of millions of people and continues to improve lives of over 1.4 billion people today.
How many famines have there been since then?
