From my point of view in Connect, you have 2 posts. This one and this:
https://lemmy.world/post/2547524
Opening the link in a browser without logging in shows that you have 4 posts including this one. The 2 guinea pig posts don't show in connect. Both have votes so someone must've seen them.
It seems that the guinea pig community isn't visible from my end at all.
I'll try to search it from the instance that I use to force federation. Just a sec. I'm now subscribed....and there they are. I can now see all of your posts through connect.
So, do you think my problem is that lemmy.world is not federading with the instances that my posts are on?
Or I was thinking, that it's because I have it set to hide read posts, but I don't see an option to unhide my own posts.
Go to settings on the website and turn off "hide read posts". Its a lemmy issue, it hides it since you have "read" your own post
That's bizarre. How can there not be an option to hide read posts that doesn't hide your own??
Both the posts and your user are on the same instance, so federation shouldn't be an issue.
Changing the hide post doesn't seem to make a difference. I can still see all my posts when I look at my profile and click the "9 posts", even if they're hidden on the main view.
Did you accidentally block the community? Can you see the community: https://lemmy.world/c/guineapigs
I can see the community. :( but none of my posts, even this one. It says 4 posts at the top, but the page is empty.
Check your blocked users. You might have accidentally blocked yourself?
I didn't! I also went on lemmy.world and I can't see my posts there either or in sync so it's something with my global settings but idk what :(
Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn't work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !guineapigs@lemmy.world
Lemmy.world has some issues lately, they havent federated with my self hosted instance for almost 2 weeks now.
