ย [SOLVED] - Lemmy doesn't notify you if the username is taken and just hangs indefinitely if it is taken. Just an fyi to anybody else who's having issues signing up for a Lemmy instance.
Title says it all. I've tried multiple browsers, restarting, flushing dns and everything else I can think to troubleshoot this on my end. Whenever I try to sign up it just hangs infinitely on the page that I took a screenshot of, with the submit button spinning.
How can I join this side of lemmy? Lemmy.world is pretty good but I would like to be in an instance that is defederated from lemmygrad please lol
A spinning wheel, probably means it failed. Could be the username is taken. Could be you already created it and now the username is taken. Wait to be approved. You get an email.
