Just had quite the fright when my dog started shaking and peeing all over the place. I counted the roaches in the ashtray and deduced that he ate three of them, leading to what the emergency vet called "cannabis toxicosis". Come to find out, weed is wildly toxic to our dog friends. I know some people like getting their dogs baked, and I'm not here to judge, but please think twice. Fortunately my dog friend will be just fine after he sleeps it off, but he's clearly uncomfortable and my heart breaks for him. Take care of your dogs.

Yeah even if it's not lethal (which it can be for animals), I can confirm it was not fun when we had to take care of a relative's pitbull mix after she got into a package of high caliber edibles while they were packing for a trip.

It took days for the poor pooch to recover, and the whole time she was a puddle - literally. In addition to her looking like her face was melting off, she was drooling, couldn't walk, and completely lost her ability to control her bladder.

Do not recommend - watch your edibles around your pets too
