Sure, if you desperately want that 0.1% boost in runtime performance at the cost of a 300% increase in how long it takes to update stuff ๐Ÿ˜‰

But in all honesty Gentoo is a member of my top 5, which are themselves not internally ranked. My top 5 are Debian, Arch, Gentoo, Devuan, and Artix. All 5 are truly excellent distros to run or to base another distro on. I'm currently running Linux Mint Debian edition and am very happy, but Gentoo I have a ton of respect for the philosophy and want they're up to
