There is a road near me where the "protected" bike lane turns into a car turning lane. It's as bad as you would expect. I don't know how municipalities think they can trust dumb asses in cars around bikes, when they continually show an inability to behave appropriately.

I dont road bike at all, because I live in the country and would probably die, so I just do mountain biking. Can't commute by bike anyways.
