What is "енгельс" exactly? It's not on English Wiktionary.

That would be "Энгельс", I think, and it wouldn't really make sense here.

Edit: Oh, they do spell it like that in Ukrainian, my bad. Yes, that's probably it, although I still don't get what it is.

It's the name of the town and the oil depot in it.
