The arrogance of this man. “Sure, we’re forcing your people to starve, but forget about that. Come to our 100% bullshit-free summit on How Russia is Making the World a Better Place.”

It would be nice if the ones who attended used the opportunity to tell him off in person.

That is assuming the leaders care about their people.

I'd presume that it'd be less of a move of arrogance and more of a move made out of pure coercion
