Further adding to the woes of the 2 m in Arakan, Indian trade route is also under blockade: https://lemmy.ca/post/24020511.
Trade from Bangladesh would still be open, though that would not be sufficient to off-set loss of supplies coming from mainland Burma. UN can attempt to supply the Arakanese from Bangladesh, though action from UN has been lacking all these years. They issue reports but doesn't do jack.
