"High-caliber" "advanced sniper rifles"? If they're talking about the short-barreled ARs in the picture, they're neither.

I don't get why news outlets make shit up like this. The truth is worse: those rifles are for close-quarters boots on the ground. They're what you want when you invade and fight door to door in a city. That's exactly what they're going to use them for: systematically killing anyone they find in the target area.

Dagan purchased dozens of advanced sniper rifles after raising almost one million shekels ($270,000) from supporters...

They might be referring to two different purchases. One is in the hundreds, the other in dozens.
