It's not really surprising. Trump supporters are cultists at this point.
But these polls are just too early to mean anything. His supporters didn't get to this place because they are immune to propaganda. If Murdoch decides to go with a different candidate, plenty of time to mold 40-50 million rural voters.
I think this is key right here. Once election season really kicks off in January, then we'll see who the GOP and Murdoch put forward, and then see what the polls have to say. 2024 is going to be an interesting year, and I cannot wait for it to be over.
Yes...I'd like to submit my vote for "the non-GOP candidate with the best chance of winning" right now, and just skip 2024 completely.
