The bottom part is also really good for packing a bowl, especially after you've hit a green one a couple of times

Back in the day when everyone still smoked flower, I would see people do this all the time with their lighter after a couple of hits. Personally I found it much more effective to just use your finger, so that's what I always did instead. It packs down so much better.

Years ago in school I had a lighter confiscated by a teacher (forgot it was in my pocket and it went through the wash). First thing they did after taking it was smell the bottom of it.
