I live in this little town. The sheer cognitive dissonance of the "don't tread on me" crowd who have fallen for the anti-solar propoganda saying that farmers shouldn't be allowed to do what they want with their own land is palpable.

I'm not surprised by any of it. I live in a pocket of New Jersey that has a group fighting against offshore wind farms funded mostly by Real Estate agents and existing energy interests claiming that adding supply from a new source of power is going to increase the market rate of electric power. It's exhausting to listen to and read about their bullshiting.

I feel like that goes against the fundamental supply/demand rule of economics lmao who is falling for that? That was a rhetorical question I know the answer already :/
