Good thing the picture I'm responding to has a modular dash where the AC is a permanent part of the car, and the radio can be replaced...
I feel like you've hallucinated someone saying "the radio and the AC are the same thing".
Wish they'd have the option to just have an AUX input only.. Not everyone wants or needs a dumb radio
In the US you legally have to put a radio on the car for emergency broadcast.
