But it’s ok to keep manufacturing them there and selling them abroad?
That sounds completely normal and not at all suspicious
They decided to break compatibility with the rest of the world. Stupid yeah, but what's there to be suspicious about?
I guess it would be sus if Huawei was using some charging frequencies that China was cool with, and this just so happened to only impact a lot of manufacturers that were outside of China.
But I don’t know if Huawei is or isn’t impacted. Finding frequencies in recent tech specs is kind of hard.
