they discover what it takes to become Starfleet officers as they navigate blossoming friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves, and a new enemy that threatens both the Academy and the Federation itself.

Jeez, I was looking forward to this, but I hope it doesn't turn into some sort of Beverly hills 90210

That is exactly what I have been expecting it to be since it was announced. All I can hope for is for some good comic relief by Picardo.
