Do any of these protestors honestly believe Palestineans will fare the same or better with trump in office?
Either they do and are thus too dumb to be worth listening to or they don't care about the people they profess to defend.
Edit: fixed a homonym.
No. They believe that Harris is more likely to be swayed than Trump is.
Exactly. Why don’t they protest at republican rallies? If anything, they are turning Democrats against them.
Why isn't she giving into their Demands you ask, I ask how? She can call for the Senate to vote on different funding/embargo deals. But this is delusional if we are now saying the Vice President can override the President and issue new while breaking old contracts signed by Congress to another country.
Thank you for framing this the way I think it.
It's not pro-Israel or pro-Hamas (to me). It's anti-genocide and anti our weapons being used for it.
That said, if we end up with Trump, then the purity test will have significant backlash.
"If you don't do what we say, you're the one throwing away the election!"
It's a pretty childish view.
"Stop aiding a genocide or we'll allow the party that would speed up said genocide to win" is not an adult view.
Think about it a different way. Many Republicans feel any abortion is murder (so from their perspective, weare killing thousands of babies every month.) If they started protesting trump saying he'd better ban abortion or they'll allow Harris to win (despite the fact that she seems determined to protect the right to abortion) would that be an adult rational decision? Or would it be the same childish petulance?
